2020 has been a challenging year for the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic, greatly impacting people’s health and livelihoods, and disrupting national and global economies. The unprecedented response that has been rolled out must continue into 2021, says Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, built on a global commitment to peace, solidarity and caring for one another, including the equitable distribution of vaccines globally. 1. At the very least we all need to be way more appreciative of our doctors, there task and burden is much greater then for most like soldiers they deal with life and death and that deserves to be acknowledged a lot more. Through wages, support, benefits and the best study possible. The way medical students were treated in this pandemic was like using young untrained soldiers as cannon fodder. The failing to prepare is preparing to fail quote really hit me, this is what failing looks like. And I pray we learn, I don’t pray often but for this I pray.
