Governor Polis Visits COVID-19 Community Health Clinics; Receives Vaccine Shot

Governor Jared Polis visited a number of community health clinics in the Denver metro area on Saturday, January 30, 2021. The Governor also received his first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at Salud Family Medical Center in Commerce City.

Throughout the day, Governor Polis visited community COVID-19 vaccine clinics at Servicios de la Raza, Seventh Day Adventist Church, Dahlia Square, and a mass vaccination clinic at Coors Field in Denver before going to Salud Family Medical Center.

Governor Polis also participated in a virtual visit to a COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Glenwood Springs this afternoon.

  1. Good job! I’m on the waiting list. I’m 60years with heart and lung disease. I’m only getting it so I can hopefully hug and see my Mom that resides in skilled nusing facilities. Its been almost 11 months since I can check on her. Too many days lost that I can never get back. She dosen’t understand why her loved ones haven’t been to see her, she thought she did something bad. Heartbroken
