Millions sign petition after truck driver gets 110-year sentence

A truck driver was sentenced earlier this week to 110 years in prison for a 2019 crash that left four people dead and several others injured in Colorado. By Friday, more than 3 million people had signed a petition, asking Colorado Governor Jared Polis to grant clemency to Rogel Aguilera-Mederos, or commutation for time served.   1. People keep saying it was an accident but it wasn’t. An accident means that all circumstances leading up to the accident were out of his control, but that wasn’t the case. Because he had plenty of opportunities to stop the truck but he didn’t do so. He alone caused this tragedy to him, it was 100% preventable.
    Having said that, I do agree 110 years is excessive, but I believe that he should serve at least 20 to 30 years.

  2. Why didn’t Trump get sentenced to 110 years in prison for inciting an insurrection? This judge needs to be put sacked as it is clearly an abuse of the law . American society is sickening

  3. Well the people he killed dont get second chances. Its been reported that he was driving recklessly before from video evidence, and ignored the emergency ramps. He had plenty of chances to prevent the incident.
